The dirt
Fields
We continue to carry out essential turf maintenance on the Wyatt Rd Soccer Fields. During late summer 2008 we slice seeded all areas, aerovated all fields, and invested more funds into the sprinkler system that covers all three terraces. The two lower fields are expected to reopen in late March ready for a full schedule of spring practices every night of the week and a full schedule of games every weekend.

The Important News

On the way for week 2, we expect to have "real goals" for the Under 6 teams around the start of week 2. These goals are exactly the same as the Under 8 teams are currently using. These goals will also be in place for all practice sessions.

CONSTRUCTION: The Town of Middletown has hired a contractor to install steps between terrace one and two and also between terrace two and three. Once complete, this will allow for easier movement throughout the complex.

We have over 500 players taking part in the 2008 fall recreational season at Wyatt Rd. Please use caution when driving through the parking lot, do not stop in the middle of the driveway to drop off your children, pull in to the side. TRAFFIC FLOW IS ONE-WAY, please don't try and exit the way you entered the grounds.

We have volunteers directing traffic for your benefit and the safety of all present at the fields, please respect these volunteers.

Adult soccer is alive and well, there are weekly games for the ladies at 8am on Sunday mornings and the men play at 9am on Sunday's. There is no cost to play, bring a friend, talent level varies from totally useless to really good so you probably fit in there somewhere. it's a fun gathering and has been running for a very, very long time. Outdoor soccer usually runs from late March through December.

Of course, no responsibility is accepted for injury to you or others if you partake in this fun event.
